I am honored to be featuring the lovely Anne from The Eyelet Lady on Etsy today!
"I've been sewing all my life.
I began sewing when I was 10 and fell in love with the whole creative process.
Making my handmade 'old fashioned' 100% cotton nightgowns for girls has been a lot of fun and a product that is needed.
Since the sudden death of my high-school sweetheart husband...life forced major changed in my life.
I found ETSY...I LOVE ETSY!!
It has opened up a great opportunity for me!
I was not forced back into the work force system of NO freedom.
ETSY gives me the freedom to work, make a living and still have time for my family!
Whether it be quilting, sewing, designing, hand embroidery, machine embroidery, writing, scrap-booking, teaching or just dreaming up ideas...these are a few of my favorite things!
LIFE...is about making memories...
...adding surprises and little bits of happiness...
...in whatever ways we can dream up."
Ever since I posted the recap of our summer vacation at our cabin I have been getting comments and emails about the adorable nightgowns the girls were wearing....
You all wanted to know who made them and how you could get their hands on some for their little girls.
Anne was so sweet to send Alexa and Lilli each a special nightgown from her collection. Lilli loves pink and Alexa loves green, so she accommodated to their likes!
Immediately I was drawn to the softness of the material. They are 100% cotton knit and so cuddly and soft. I couldn't wait to get my girls in them and snuggle!
Lilli's sweet nightgown is pink and features little white hearts, a ruffle on the bottom and around the shoulders. It has an eyelet collar and trim!!
Anne was so generous to send Lilli's baby doll a matching nightgown and slippers, too!
It's the perfect size for an American Girl doll, or it also fits Lilli's little Circo doll from Target.
We all know how special little dolls are to our girls and to have an option for them to 'match' is so sweet.
Alexa's nightgown is a sage green with ladybugs and a sweet embroidered heart and flower in the center.
Her shoulders are more of a tank-top style, which she loves.
Both girls love the length of the nightgowns - they are extra soft, free-flowing and comfortable.
I call them their Little House on the Prairie jammies. ;)
I can't get over their cuteness!

Each nightgown purchased features a special tag that says it's made especially for you by "The Eyelet Lady". However, if you plan to give a nightgown to your favorite little girl for Christmas, Anne has special tags that say, "Specially Handmade by Mrs. Claus".
I could not think of a more unique gift and one to make your little ones eyes light up when they know that Mrs. Claus made it herself! ;)
All of Anne's nightgowns are quailty handmade. All seams are serged and then reinforced with a top stretch-stitch.
Anne does all the dreaming, designing and sewing herself. Her motto is "quality and perfection", so you know you're getting a piece that is made to last and with lots of love.
Anne also sent the girls these fun little DIY bracelet kits. Alexa and Lilli love playing with beads, so this was a fun little surprise for them. I have them tucked in my purse to pull out in a time of need...you know, one of those emergency moments when I'm desperate for something to keep them occupied. ;)
Anne is so sweet, it's been a pleasure getting to know her - I can't wait for her to make some more nightgowns for my girls.
Anne would like to offer one lucky Mom-a-Logues winner a nightgown of choice from her collection.
