Rosy Details Review & THREE Giveaways

I am so excited to feature Rosy Details on Mom-a-Logues today - a sweet Etsy shop of boutique style items for your littles.  Not only because, Melissa, owner and designer is super talented, but because she is a fellow Minnesotan and I love featuring local shops and artists.

"I was pregnant with my second when I started talking about wanting to sew.  You know that great nesting instinct that says, "Hey, you're going to have a newborn, now is the perfect time to start new projects".  After all, I had learned the sewing basics when I was young.  I didn't quite start sewing then but the itch was there and it kept getting stronger.  It wasn't until I was almost due with my third when I finally decided I was going to sit down and make it happen.
Again, with the nesting instincts timing...
This time I started sewing and haven't stopped.

Inspired by wanting to make adorable accessories for my young daughter the first time I made was an infinity loop scarf in toddler size, oh my, instant cuteness.  Next I needed newborn baby swaddle wraps in fun prints and patterns that showed my personality.  I brought some to the hospital when my third was born and I had nurses from other floors stopping in to see them.

What I made is influenced by my three children and my friends and their children.  Everything I sell is something I have made and used for my own kids.  I'm brimming with ideas and have lots coming to the shop!"

~ Melissa

Children are such great inspiration and Melissa has three littles to keep her inspired.  I look forward to seeing what's next for her and her shop.

Tired of the same old nursery prints in pale pinks and blues?  Looking for something functional, yet fun to fit your style or matching your baby's nursery theme?  These swaddle wraps and multi-use hooded blankets are made from super soft flannel and come in really fun prints.  From really bold to oh-so-cute, you'll be able to find one to fit any style or theme.

Melissa's swaddle blankets are approx. 21" long and are a perfect fit for newborns and up to  0-3 months, up to 12.5 lbs. or until baby fights being swaddled.

Lots of my friends have either just had a baby or are about to and the swaddle blankets are definitely a hot topic of popularity.  Melissa offers many fun designs at a very reasonable cost!

One of the first things Alexa mentioned to me after her first day of school was that he teacher was super young and really 'get's us", meaning she's really cool and probably listens to One Direction or something.  But, more importantly Alexa mentions her teacher's fashion.  She pretty much wears a scarf to school every day.  Alexa has always loved scarves anyways, but this year (with the inspiration of her teacher), she loves them even more.

Infinity scarves are in, you guys, they have been for awhile and the trend isn't going anywhere anytime soon.  Now our little girls are asking to wear them - down to tiny tots sporting the fashionable look.

Infinity Double Loop Scarf

Sister Set

Toddler Scarves

Melissa was so generous to send Alexa and Lillian each a scarf from her collection.

Alexa's is multi-colored and has a tie-dye design - her absolute FAVORITE!

She wore it to school on her birthday and could not wait to show it off to Ms. Horn.  I think they have a fun little rivalry going on as to who can wear the cutest scarves.

I love the length of the scarf - just the right size for Alexa to wear it comfortably.  It's soft around her neck and will go with many items in her wardrobe!

Lilli's double loop scarf features a light pink and sparkly gray design.  It's soft and sweet, just like Lilli! ;)

Lilli loves whatever Alexa loves, so scarves are a huge part of the girls' accessory collection.

Melissa's scarves come in all sorts of fun colors and patterns.  Something for everyones liking!
And she offers them at a reasonable price to keep your collections full!

They are offered in toddler and girl sizes and she sells them in sister sets, too!!
