LibbyLu June Review & Giveaway

I'm honored to have Liz from Libby Lu June on Mom-a-Logues today.

"Hello! I'm Liz, a born and raised Hoosier currently loving life at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado! From a very young age my Mom instilled in me a love of crafts; and my Dad a love of books. So, my sewing machine and my local library are two of my absolute favorite things.

I have always loved mixing color and pattern (in 3rd grade I was the girl wearing neon green tights under her shorts), and when my husband and I bought our first home that passion took off. I began sewing pillows and curtains using clearance fabric or fabric found at thrift stores -so nothing really matched- but, I always got compliments when we would have people over. These compliments are what has given me the confidence to start my own shop on Etsy! I hope you will find some pieces to add a pop of color and fun to your own home or to accessorize an outfit! Thanks for stopping by - I hope you like what you see!"

After reading this, I am so very much reminded of my little Alexa.  She has such a creative heart and a knack for all things fashionable - you all know she loves wearing shorts over her leggings and the more mixed matched the colors and patterns are the better.  I have no doubt Alexa will be so talented artistically, like Liz.

Libby Lu June is a place where there is nothing better than bright colors and lots of patterns.  Liz loves having handmade unique pieces that no one else has.  She believes that life should be filled with as much fun as possible.  Mixing colors and patterns has always put a smile on her face and she hopes that her pieces will make you smile every time you walk in a room or look in the mirror.

You wil find anything from home decor to mother/daughter accessories.

Pillows add that special touch to any part of your home. Whether it's on your couch, a thrifted chair, a guest room or on your bed, pillows always make a space feel warm and welcoming.  They also give a rather empty space a splash of color and life.

Liz's fabric covered button earrings will add some style and pizazz to any outfit in your wardrobe.

She uses only Ecofi felt that is made out of recycled plastic bottles - not wool.  The posts and backs are nickel free titanium.

Libby Lu June's scrappy petal pins are such a fun accessory.  They are so versatile - pin them on a hat, on your shirt or purse, or even on a fashion scarf.

They are made of light-weight cotton and feature zig zag stitching around the edges of the leaves.  All fabric edges are left raw to give this pin it's fun laid back attitude.

Coffee Cozy

These amazing coffee cozies are not only stylish, but functional, too.
The elastic and cute fabric button closure ensures this cozy will fit almost any size cup.
No need to waste cardboard - use a reusable cozy instead!!

Liz was super generous to send me this fabulous throw pillow from her collection.

I love the mustard colored ruffle center paired with the grey and white print with dark gray felt flower embellishment.

It's the perfect fit for this little spot with the girls' fabric dolls in our living room.  It compliments to colors in this area so well.  Liz did a brilliant job creating this lovely piece.  I am honored to have it displayed in our home.

She also sent along some fun mommy/daughter goodies from her collection.

I love the fabric covered buttons - they are just so fun to pair with so many things in my closet.
The pin is fun to accessorize with and these amazing earrings and matching clips are so much fun to match with my little girls.

I just know you'll fall in love with all the fun colors and fabric options, as I have.  With Christmas upon us very soon - Libby Lu has some stylish gifts for friends and family!
