I'm excited to have Megan from Sew Zip on Mom-a-Logues today!
She offers a beautiful collection of hair accessories and home decor items, mostly made from repurposed materials.
"I have always been into making things. I got my start scrapbooking in high school and collage. I got into other forms of crafting when I picked up an issue of "Green Crafting" magazine. I loved the concept of taking junk and making it useful and pretty again. This mainly came into play by finding old fabrics at thrift stores and my mom's left over scraps. I love wearing headbands, so I began making some for myself and thought that maybe other people might like them, too.
The concept of 'creatively making old things new' comes from what God has done in my life by making me a new creation.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17"
She was so sweet to send each of my girls a flower hair clip from her collection.
The colors are so rich and vibrant. The buttons in the center provide a vintage-y look. They are not only super cute to wear in your hair, but would also make a pretty pin on your shirt or handbag.
She also sent me a mom hair-saver headband. I'm the first to admit that my hair is in need of 'saving' most days, so this headband has come in handy for not only out and about but at home on my lazy weekends, too. I love the elastic headband - it's super comfortable!
Here are some of my other favorites from Megan's collection.

Coral Bow Mom-Saver Headband
Patriotic Ruffle Flower Headband
Chevron Mom Hair-Saver
Red & White Shabby Heart Ornament
Mr & Mrs Wedding Banner
