Ginger on a Mission Review & Giveaway

I'm honored to have the lovely Susan on Mom-a-Logues today.

Susan studied abroad in Chile in 2008 and volunteered at an orphanage/mental institution for children with special needs.  It was there that she first learned about the orphan crisis for children with special needs.  The children were anywhere between 2-27 years old (so, not all children) and most laid in their crib all day with little interaction.  As you can imagine, this broke Susan's heart, but she cherished every smile that was given to her by the children.  In other countries, children with special needs are often abandoned due to lack of funds to care for the child or there are other social stigmas attached to having a child with special needs.

Susan knew she needed to find a way to help and that is where her lovely shop, Ginger on a Mission was born.  50% of each purchase goes to a family adopting a child with special needs or to a child waiting for their forever family!!

Helping children with special needs is very near and dear to my heart and the fact that Susan gives SO MUCH of the proceeds from her shop to these children is astounding and very admirable.

Here are a few of the fun goodies she offers in her shop...

These colorful and stylish wallets are a cute way to carry your business cards or a small wallet to put your credit cards and gift cards.  It's also the perfect way to give a gift card as a birthday or Christmas gift.

The wallet is made from 3 different coordinating fabrics with an elastic/button clasp.  It's lined with fusible fleece on the inside to give the wallet shape and durability.  It features 2 pockets and can hold about 20 business cards or 10 credit/gift cards.
Measures approx 4"x2.5" when closed and 4"x5" when open flat.

This is a fabulous wristlet for a night out with friends or simply when you don't want to carry around that big purse of yours.

There are 2 different fabrics used, one on the front and one on the back.  The inside fabric matches the second fabric on the front.  A zipper is used to open and close.

Measures approx. 7.25"x4.25"

Susie's Reusies
Susan's snack bags are made with oil cloth/laminated cotton on the outside and are lined with ProCare Waterproof fabric that is food safe, BPA, phlalate and lead free.  A velcro closure helps to keep the bag closed and the food inside.

They are perfect for snacks on the go instead of buying plastic bags over and over again.  Simply turn it inside out, hand wash it and let it air dry.

Susan sent us an awesome snack bag from her collection.  We use snack bag's like this all the time to save on having to buy plastic bags.  They are so handy and my girls love the fun designs and patterns.
We are on the go a lot and it seems as tho my kids are always hungry, so having a little bag of snacks to carry in my purse is a must. ;)

Tote Bags
Susan's tote bags are the perfect accessory for your little one to carry her books or treasures.
Susan offers many fun fabric options for all personality types - something for everyone.

It features a pocket on the inside and a magnetic clasp.
It has pleats on the exterior and is lined with fleece for extra durability.
