Reap What You Sew Review & Giveaway

I am thrilled to have Crystal from Reap What You Sew on Mom-a-Logues today.

Crystal is from the blue ridge mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.  She loves to express herself through many kinds of crafts and art projects, but is particularly fond of sewing.  She also tries to create crafts that are functional and serve some kind of purpose, besides looking beautiful.

In her shop you will find items such as aprons, tote bags, pillowcases, baby products, therapeutic rice pillows and even cat toys!!  She is also open to suggestions and custom orders.

Crystal was so sweet to send me an apron from her collection.

It's an adorable fabric of purple, pink and yellowish green pears.
It's such a great design and such a useful and handy item to have in my kitchen.

It's features a criss cross strap design so that it can fit all shapes and sizes, as it's easily adjustable.

I'm definitely not the cook in the family, but it sure helps to have something cute to wear to get me motivated and prepare a fabulous meal for my family. ;)

Here are some more goodies Crystal offers….

Changeable pillowcases are such an inexpensive way to change up a room for the different holidays, seasons or just because.  Sometimes it's hard on a persons budget to do full room makeovers when they want a new look, but adding a new pillow here or there and some fun colors and patterns really can make a huge difference without breaking the bank!

Baby Products
Baby blankets, burp cloths, baby pillowcases - Crystal has a precious collection of items for your wee ones that are not only adorable, but very functional, too!

Tote Bags
Crystal's bags are reversible!!  Hooray for a 2-for-1!
They are made with two coordinating cotton fabrics!!  There is no closure at the top, but would be an excellent option for an all purpose bag for the office, library or beach!

Therapeutic Rice Pillow

This beautiful rice pillow is handcrafted with colorful cotton.  It measures 7" x 7 1/2", which makes it the perfect size to use on your head.

For hot treatment, simply microwave for about 90 seconds.
For a cold treatment, keep your rice pillow in a plastic bag in the freezer.  Hot or cold rice pillows are great for relieving aches and pains, headaches, cramps, or when you need a little help keeping warm or cooling off.

I'm kinda wishing I had a warm one of these right now - - it's below zero here in Minnesota.

They are available in unscented, with organic lavender essential oil scented or organic eucalyptus essential oil scented at no extra cost.

Cat Toys
This 'fish' cat toy is handmade with eco-felt, which is high quality fiber made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.  It is filled with polyester fiber and dried organic catnip that Crystal grew herself.  The fish line is crocheted with wool yarn.  These materials are very tough and can withstand a lot of rough cat play.

Kitchen Items
Crystal also offers many useful items for the kitchen including pot holders and reusable fabric napkins!

Crystal is generously offering ALL Mom-a-Logues readers a 10% discount on your purchase at her shop.  Use coupon code TAKE10 when ordering.
