Made with Luck Review & Giveaway

I love finding shops and products that encourage imagination and creative play for children.

Made With Luck on Etsy is a fabulous handmade boutique that offers fun super hero capes for boys and girls, fabric dolls and other accessories including hats, headbands and hair clips.

Alisa is the sweet owner and designer of this darling shop and is a STHM of 2 little ones who inspire her daily to create.  If they can dream it, she will make it.

"I've always loved to make things and be creative. I was a metals/CAD-CAM major at Tyler School of Art and after graduating I went on to work for several jewelry companies in New York. I left the jewelry industry when my son was born to become a stay at home mom :) I had always sewn, crochet and knit but it was after my daughter was born that I really started focusing on these mediums as the main outlet for my creativity. It was my husband Todd who encouraged me to start an Etsy shop and do craft shows so that others would be able to enjoy all my creations. I love making things and I love it even more when people love the things I make! Originally everything was 'Made with Luck ' because with two kids I was lucky if I had any time at all to work on projects. But now I realize its 'Made with Luck' because I'm lucky to have three people who inspire and support me."

Alisa's super hero capes are made 'one size fits most' at approx 21" long and 17" wide and comes with a matching felt mask.

The cape is made of a cotton fabric and a felt symbol.  The symbol is sewn on, not glued, for long lasting durability.
The cape fastens at the top with velcro.

The girls capes feature the same designs in colors of pink and purple.

Alisa was so generous to send me a superman cape from her collection.  I couldn't wait for my sweet little neighbor boy to try it on.  He was too stubborn to take any pictures, unfortunately.

We loved that he was able to run and soar with a comfortable cape and soft mask.  The eye holes are large enough for him to see perfectly and the felt is soft on his face.  Many hours have been spent saving and rescuing things and being a true super hero.  It's so fun to see them transform into character with such a fun costume.

Alisa's fabric dolls are absolutely adorable and each one has their own name and style.

She sent Lillian this darling ballerina.  She features blonde hair and a purple felt flower clip in her hair with a bright pink button embellishment, a beautiful purple dress and purple and pink ballet slippers with a purple flower embellishment on each.

She is such a soft and snuggly doll that is made with extra long arms for big hugs.  Lillian just loves her.  She is a ballerina herself, so she loves the idea of this doll being just like her.  She takes her to bed with her and has introduced her to the other dolls in her collection.  She's such a special doll that will be one she'll treasure for many years to come.

The details are perfect.  Alisa does such brilliant work.

Made with Luck is a fabulous boutique for little girls and boys.  You will be happy with the selection and your kiddos will appreciate the great quality and fun designs.
