SewJillyBean Review & Giveaway

I'm excited to share with you a very special shop called SewJillyBean.  It's a darling Etsy boutique that features a collection of custom made clothing for children including tutu skirts, dresses, t-shirts, towels and more.

Jill is the incredible mastermind behind this sweet shop and designs her creations all out of love for her daughter, Julianna, who is the model in most of her photos.

Jill was so kind to send Lillian and Alexa some of her creations.  When I saw that she featured orange and black attire, I couldn't help but beam with Tiger pride for our school mascot.

School Spirit Day/Homecoming is next week at our school so these items couldn't have come at a better time.  There is no doubt my girls will be sparkling with school spirit!!

Lillian's little tiger cheerleader dress is absolutely the cutest.  The tiger appliqué on the front is so sweet age age appropriate for Lilli.  She simply adores it.

This dress features a plaid orange and black print as well as plain black fabric on the skirt with a tie at the waist.  The top is tank top style and has a zipper on the side for easy dressing.

Lilli also wanted me to make sure to share with you that it has LOTS of twirl, which is very important to a 6 year old. ;)

Alexa received an orange and black sparkle tutu skirt.

We are both HUGE fans of this tutu being on the longer side.  It's more of a tea length rather than super short.  It's also hemmed in satin ribbon which gives it some extra personality!

Jill went all out with the tiger embellishments and added a little tiger to the orange sparkle bow at the waist.  Too cute for words.  Alexa is anxious to wear this to school next week and has big plans for it come Halloween, too!

We are so impressed with Jill's work.  She goes over and beyond to create pieces that are quality made and full of personality.

If you have a custom request, Jill is your go to gal!

Now let me tell you a little bit about Jill's sweet as pie daughter, Julianna (age 3).  Julianna was born with Spina Bifida and although she has her struggles, she does not let this hold her back.  She is pure sunshine and just bubbles over with contagious joy.  She had her first neurosurgery when she was just 6 months old and due to her spine becoming re-tethered, she is going to need another surgery soon.

Now, I know that most of you are moms who read this blog and share in my love for handmade goodies.  And I know how much you all love to support other mama's, especially when it's for a cause like helping to pay for their child's needs.

Well, you have an opportunity to help.  Not only can you purchase from Jill's shop and support her craft and incredible talent, but you can also donate directly to support Julianna in her Walk & Roll this coming Saturday hosted by the Spina Bifida Coalition of Cincinnati.  They've allowed Julianna and her family the opportunity to get connected with other kids who have Spina Bifida and their families.  They support her and answer all her questions as well as put her in contact with the right specialists according to her needs.
Obviously, they want as many donations before then but you are still able to get your donations in during the month of October.

Check her out....isn't she a DOLL??
